Hailey 1 month old

Here are some updated pictures of Hailey. She is 6 weeks old now and is definately getting bigger. We have had some issues with her eating over the last few weeks. She is having reflux which seems to bother her sometimes and she has been very gassy and irritated with it. Sometimes when she is eating we think she gets the reflux and then already has formula in her mouth then gags and she can't breathe. We took her to an gastroenterologist last week and she basically said to try a different formula, give her rice cereal in her milk, and gave her Zantac. The formula seems to be helping some but she still gets very irritable during the night (of course) and she still has the reflux. A friend suggested probiotics and after researching it on the internet it sounds like a good idea. I found a formula that has the probiotics and also the broken down proteins to help with the gas so we might try it. Other than this issue she is a great baby. She still mostly sleeps but over the last 4 days she has been awake for about 6 hours a day rather than her usual 2-3. She is moving her head side to side now and smiles so big when we talk to her, it is sooo cute!!
