Snow Day

On New Year's Day we went up north to go play in the snow with the Williams family and the Baron family. We had the best time EVER!!! First we stopped and went sledding at the most awesome place we have ever seen. There were a lot of people but it was so much fun. Lexi and Kayla have no fear and wanted to go down the big hills. They had so much fun. Emma and Tyler couldn't wait to go down the hills and went several times. Kyler went down a little hill with his daddy and then fell off and did a somersault into the snow. He took it well. Tara and I went down a decent hill screaming the entire way. I fell off and rolled a few times and Tara made it all the way down. Of course Eric, Rob and Tyler wanted to go down the HUGE hill. It was so funny. Eric fell off and then recovered on his stomach, it was like he was a pro. Rob fell off several times but was able to recover and get back on and went the entire way down. It was awesome! We were having so much fun there and then the police showed up and made everyone leave because that area was CLOSED. Way to ruin family fun. So then we drove up a few more miles and found an area with other people that had a lot of snow and little hills for Lexi and Kayla. We had a picnic lunch on the side of the highway and then we played in the snow. We built a snowman (smoking a cigar) and we had several snow ball fights. This was one of the best family days we have ever had. Hailey spent the day with grandma and papa. She had special time with them because she would have never lasted on our road trip. Next year she will join us.
