Spring picnic at Grace

Last Sunday we went to the annual spring picnic at Grace Methodist Church. There were many inflatables for the kids to play on, an animal petting zoo, a craft station, face painting, food, and even a salsa contest. Lexi had been looking forward to this picnic all week long. All she talked about was the waterslide and how she is so excited to go down it. Well, when we got there she did not want to go down it. Finally her friend Kayla got her to try it out. When Lexi got to the top she got scared and didn't want to go down. A little boy was trying to help her and said she could go down on his lap but she wouldn't go. Finally she did and that was the only time she went down the waterslide. Hailey went down a big slide with daddy and she wasn't sure what to think about that. Then she went down a little slide on her own. She didn't cry but she didn't look happy either.
