Easter Playdate

We had an Easter playdate at our house the other day for our friends and had a lot of fun. We have been planning it for a long time and the kid were soooo excited for it. Mommy had a great idea to make cake pops for the party...not such a great idea. Originally I was going to make them into egg shapes and decorate them. Well after the first trial run I decided to egg shaped pops were too difficult so I would just do round balls. I tried several attempts to master this and in the end I decided to stick with my sugar cookies because cake pops are not my thing. The kids loved them though and I guess that is all that really mattered. The kids decorated foam eggs, dyed easter eggs, played outside, and we even had an Easter egg hunt! The kids seemed to have fun and it was nice to catch up with the other mommies. I had so many cute pictures I just had to post a lot of them.
