Chandler Light Parade

A few weekends ago Lexi's dance team was in the Chandler Light Parade. The snapcaps and sparklers (the younger girls) were sitting on the float and the older groups were walking/dancing behind the float. It never seems to rain in Az but it did that day. We were able to bundle the girls up as much as possible and it did stop raining for the parade time but started back up right at the end. The girls did a dance to jingle bells with their pom poms during the parade. Lexi said she was freezing until the parade started and then only her face was cold. She never complained once about it and said she had so much fun! She is such a trooper!! It was so awesome to watch her go by on the float. I think she had the biggest smile out of all the girls and she looked so happy. I almost started crying just watching her have so much fun and smile at all of the people watching her.
