Zoo

One morning last week we met up with Lexi's friend Carli, her sister Ashlee, and their mom Kim. We went to the zoo (I know...in the summer)! The zoo has a splashpad there so we thought the kids could look at some animals and then play in the splashpad. We really did have a good time. It wasn't too hot out. The kids played in the splashpad to cool off and there were plently of kids kicking water around so Kim and I got cooled off also. After that we had a picnic lunch (which my girls love to do). It was fun for Lexi to see Carli. Since they don't go to school together they don't get to see each other very much.
