Lexi's 8th Birthday

On Lexi's birthday she didn't have school which was so fun! She woke up to balloons in her room like she does every year. I made her chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and Hailey and I sang to her. Then we did what she wanted to do for the rest of the day. We went and got her a phone (she paid half), then she wanted to go to lunch at Olive Garden. Then she went shopping at Justice and picked out some slippers to buy with her gift card and she even bought her sister something. Then we went to Krispy Kreme donuts for her free donut. That night for dinner we went to Red Robin, her favorite restaurant, and she opened up her present from us which was....KATY PERRY concert tickets!!! She is sooooo excited!!!! She had a great day. For her birthday party we had a pool party at grandma Nancy's house. We rented a slip n slide and a waterslide. The kids had a blast!!! I love having a pool party for her birthday, it's the easiest way to entertain a lot of kids and they all have so much fun!!
