First day of School at their new School

This year we decided to move the girls a new school called Learning Foundation and Performing Arts. The girls are both so into performing and this school has dance and musical theatre as part of their curriculum. The girls have been so excited about going here. The only draw back for them is the uniforms. They both are very fashionable and do not care for the uniforms but they make it work. We went to meet the teacher night and both of their teachers seem really nice and a perfect fit for them. On the first day of school we walked Hailey into her classroom and dropped her off there. Then we took Lexi to the courtyard until the whistle blew. They both did great and were so excited. I held it together and only had a few tears fall when I was leaving Hailey's classroom. When I went home I kept myself busy for a few hours and by lunchtime it set in. I was so sad and missed them so much. I made myself lunch and then went to watch something on TV and realized I have no idea what's on daytime TV. All I ever have on is the Disney channel. I almost started watching it to feel back in my comfort zone, but I didn't. When I picked up the girls it made me feel so much better knowing they had an awesome day and they both loved the school! It has been a hard adjustment having them both at school every day all day. I miss them so so much, but I do know that getting an education is so important. On the weekends now I just try to spend as much time with them as I can.
