New Year's 2015

This year on NYE we didn't have our annual party. We just spent NYE together as a family. I found some fun activities to do and we had a lot of fun together. I made bags for each hour and had a card with an activity on it for us to do. The girls thought this was so much fun! They took turns opening the bags. It was so cute watching their excitement for each activity. Our lives have gotten so busy and so split with the girls each having dance on opposite days. It was so nice to have time together with the four of us over the holidays/break.

Our first game was a snowball ring toss. We used giant marshmallows as our snowballs.

Then we played a guessing game.

Then we did a NYE word unscramble that I made

I think this was their favorite....Ice cream sundae bar

This was  a favorite of mine. It was a picture hunt. They were assigned a color and they had to go around the house and look for pictures on their color of paper. Then they had to put them in the order they thought happened over the last year. I took a picture of each of them from each month over the last year. This was a fun way to look back at our past year.

Here is Lexi putting them in the order she thought happened in 2014

In 2014 we wrote down special activities or trips down on paper and put it in a special container. Anyone could write down things and put it in the container and nobody could read it. Our activity for 11:00 was to open the container and read what we wrote down. I loved this!! It was another way to look back on our year. I loved reading what the girls put down. Lexi would write things down for Hailey. This is a tradition we will continue.

watching the countdown.

On New Year's Day we met up with our friends, The Barons at skateland. This was Lexi's first time roller skating.
