Potty Training Day 1

Today we started Lexi's 3 day bootcamp potty training. I really don't know if it went well or not since I don't have anything to compare it too. All I can say is I am tired!! We started off having Lexi throw away all of her diapers in the trash...well a trash bag that we then put in baby Hailey's room for her later on. We put her big girl underwear on and told her to let us know when she needs to go pee pee or poo poo so we can go in the big girl potty. We made several false trips to the potty. Lexi never had a full accident with pee down her leg or on the floor. She would always go a little bit in her panties say she needs to go and then cries and says no potty when she gets on the potty chair. She doesn't want to pee on herself but also doesn't want to pee in the potty chair either. Everytime she had a big pee today it was because her bladder was so full she she was shaking and crying and it was forced out. Once she starts to go and we start praising her she relaxes and then gets excited about it. She always wants to call someone afterwards to tell them. She had one poop today in her panties but I caught her starting so we ran to the bathroom and she got one last little bit of it in the potty and she was excited about that. Me on the other hand not so exicted because I was gagging and trying not to throw up since I had to take her underwear off that was full of poo poo. Potty training during pregnancy is not so great! Overall she had 7 successes on the potty and she gets to put stickers on her potty after everytime. Hopefully tomorrow she won't be so upset to go on the potty.


Lexi had 7 successful pees/poops today on the potty...YEAH!!!!
