Hailey's first week

Hailey is just over a week old now and boy did we have a long week. It started out with mommy having a horrible headache on Sunday that would not go away with motrin or percocet. Mommy checked her blood pressure and no surprise is was high. Mommy talked to her doctor Sunday night and they decided she could stay home from the hospital but to lay down and take it easy. Mommy's headache continued the following day so on Tuesday she was put on blood pressure medication. Finally by Wednesday her headache was gone and blood pressure starting to get under control. Hailey was breastfeeding well when she first came home but while mommy had such a horrible headache she decided to eat every hour and it would make mommy's head throb with pain and blood pressure rise so mommy made a tough decision and decided to bottle feed. Since then she has been happy with her feedings and doing well. She is sleeping about 4 hours between feedings at night which I will take!! Daddy and mommy alternate feedings so mommy has been able to get good sleep. Hailey had some visitors this week. Mommy had to turn some away because she wasn't feeling good. Lexi has had some jealousy issues. She is almost like a different child. She says "no" all of the time now for everything. She is doing things that she knows she is not supposed to do and bedtime has been a nightmare!! She constantly comes out of her room and won't go to sleep. She gets a very sad look on her face when she sees us holding Hailey and she even ran away from mommy at the store which she has never done before. All of this is heartbreaking to us. We know it's normal but it is very hard to watch our little princess be so sad! There has been lots of tears shed this week between Lexi and mommy.
