Polar Express

We went to the Polar Express (or as Lexi calls it polar expresk) for the first time yesterday and it was so much fun. Papa Dean and Grandma Nancy came along with us. Lexi has been watching the movie for a few weeks now and has been looking forward to this trip for a long time. She was so excited to ride the train and also to see santa. It was pretty cold in Williams, the high was in the 30s, so we bundled up as much as we could. We stayed at the hotel right by the train station so Lexi was able to see several stationary trains. There was a little bit of icy snow on the ground so Lexi had fun stomping on it. During the train ride we got cookies and hot chocolate just like in the story. We also followed along in the book as they played the CD. Then we were at the North Pole! Santa came aboard the train and gave all of the kids a special bell. Hailey was sleeping the entire time but woke up just in time to see santa and get her bell. They both loved their bells. Hailey was trying to eat hers of course. We had fun and will do it again in a few years so Hailey can enjoy it also.
