Snow Day

On my way home from work last Monday I was admiring the snow all over the mountains and had a crazy idea...I'm going to take the kids up to the snow this morning. When I got home my mom thought it would be fun so we changed the kids quick, loaded up the car with snow clothes, snacks, and the DVD players and off we went. We ended up going about 15 minutes past Payson and stopped at a picnic area to play. Lexi was exicted and had fun playing in the snow. Hailey on the other hand did not. I was surprised because she loved sledding. I guess she just doesn't like to play in the snow. The girls and grandma Nancy made a little snowman and we had snow ball fights. Somehow it always seemed to be grandma Nancy and Lexi against mommy. Grandma Nancy got mommy really good in the face. It got all in my mouth and in my hair and Lexi thought it was the funniest thing ever. After we played we stopped at Mc Donalds to eat lunch before heading home. Even though I was so tired from working the night before it was fun!
