Lexi's dance studio had a welcome pool party for all of the girls on the Dynamite Express Team. It was at Chandler Aquatic Center and she had so much fun. Lexi went down a "big" slide all by herself for the first time. She is not the best swimmer yet so when she went under the water at the end she started to get scared and had a hard time keeping her head above water. You can see in her picture that she was terrified but she made it to the side all by herself. She did not go down again but it was a good first try!
At the party the girls met their "buddy" which is usually one of the older dancers paired with a smaller girl. Lexi's buddy wasn't there so she didn't get to meet her that night. They were supposed to tye-dye a shirt together so Lexi did hers with her daddy. Then we ate hotdogs and had cake and we found out the theme for their dance this year...SWING. Lexi is so excited to start learning her new dances.
