Today was Lexi's first day of Kindergarten and let me just say it was one of the longest days EVER!!!! Lexi did great though! Both mommy and daddy took her to school this morning and we met her BFF Kayla and her family before school started to take pictures. Both of the girls have been SO excited to start Kindergarten. The girls held hands and walked to the playground together, it was sooo cute! Then we found Lexi's class area so she could put her backpack down so she could go play. Lexi got to swing for a few minutes and then the bell rang. Mommy just wanted to start crying right then, but I held it together. We walked her over to her line, gave her a hug and kiss and then backed away. We did video tape her walking into the school and she was jumping and waving at us, she was ready to go. When Lexi came home she told us all about her day and how she loves Kindergarten and had so much fun!! That made mommy so happy to know that she had a great day. Mommy on the other hand did not do so well. I left the school crying. Got home and cried. Watched a little bit of Beauty and the Beast with Hailey and then cried some more. Then started balling, then had an anxiety attack. I felt like I was going to pass out so I had to drag myself and Hailey to our neighbors house across the street. Luckily she was home and was able to calm me down. She understood what I was going through and helped to comfort me. I came back home got myself together, went to the store, did a drive by at the school hoping to see her a recess, then back home to cry more. Ate lunch, put Hailey down for her nap, and then cried more. When school was out I stood at the window looking out waiting for Daddy and Lexi to pull up. It took everything in me not to cry when she did get home and gave me a hug. I hope mommy has a better day tomorrow!!
