Lexi's class had the end of the year party a few days before the last year. Lexi had an awesome year. She absolutely loved her teacher, Mr Bird. She would always tell us how funny he is. Every Friday they would have "free Friday" if you finished your work. They would either go outside to play and Mr. Bird would play with them or they would do freeze dance in the classroom. When he would take the kids outside he would have races with them. Lexi always looked forward to that and would want to wear good running shoes on those days so she could beat Mr. Bird. Lexi had great reports cards all year. She excelled in everything she did. She is reading at a 3rd grade level. Mr. Bird always commented on what a great kid she was and wonderful to have in class. Lexi was also so lucky to meet a great group of friends she became close with this year. It was fun to go have lunch with her and see her play with her new friends at recess. Lexi was really lucky to have a great year and we are looking forward to another one!! Although I will say I am sad she is growing up so fast. This year seemed to fly by and I am not looking forward to how fast the next years are going to be.
