Over the 4th of July weekend we took the kids to Rocky Point for the first time. My aunt has a condo there and it is so nice! We usually go up to the cabin for the 4th to watch fireworks but since it was a four day weekend, we decided to go to Mexico instead. The girls LOVED it!! They did not want to come home. It was such a nice and relaxing weekend. Usually when we go on family trips it's to Disneyland or San Diego where everyday is busy and we try to fit in as much as we can in the short period we are there. It was so nice to just relax in the pool and the beach the entire weekend. We mostly ate in, but we did take the girls to 2 of our favorite restaurants for dinner. The girls thought the singing bands were so cool. Of course we had one band sing La Bamba to us and they loved it! At another restaurant there was a balloon man and he made Lexi a flower and Hailey a heart with a poodle in it. That made their day. Next summer we are hoping to go there and stay for a week.
