Halloween 2010

Our annual Halloween tradition is to eat chili and go trick-or-treating with the Williams Family. We have done this for years, even way before the kids were born. Although back then it was a little different. There was beer involved and usually a haunted area where the guys would scare the little kids. Now the guys are taking the kids up to the doors to trick-or-treat. This year was so fun. Kayla and Lexi knew exactly what to do: run up to the door, say trick-or-treat, put candy in bag, say thank you, then run to the next house. Kyler and Hailey weren't quite sure what was going on at first but as soon as they saw candy going into the bag they were carrying it all came together. They weren't quite as fast as Kayla and Lexi but they knew what to do. We even saw them grabbing handfuls of candy. We went to several houses then we went back to the William's house and sorted through the candy. As we were doing that Rob and Eric thought it would be funny to scare Kayla and Lexi. They put on scary masks went outside when the girls weren't looking and rang the doorbell. Kayla and Lexi jumped up and thought it was trick-or-treaters and ran to the door all excited to give out candy. When they opened the door and the scary guys were there they screamed and ran away so fast! It was hilarious. They were so fast I couldn't even get a picture of them running away. We had so much fun and are so happy to spend Halloween with such a great family!
