Thanksgiving 2010

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year and are so lucky to have such a wonderful family!! We started off at Grandma Nancy and Papa Dean's house. Most of the family was there and we just ate and hung out for hours. Most of the women were sitting around one table planning out their black friday shopping. Lexi loves her cousin Amanda and she played with her most of the time. Hailey ended up sleeping for about 3hours while we were there. Our next stop was to see Rob's family. We went to Auntie Angie's house, which was a little weird because it was our old house. Lexi was really excited to see our old house. We ate yummy pies there and Lexi played with her cousin Ben most of the time. After that is was time to take the kids home and put them to bed. Then mommy got ready to go hit the stores. I remember growing up and going to black Friday every year with my mom, aunts, and grandma. Back then though the stores opened at 6 and there were maybe about 30 people waiting at the door. Wow how times have changed!! I haven't gone black friday shopping in years! I was a little nervous because of all the stories you hear on the news but my trip was so successful and so much fun I may just start going again every year. I stayed up all night with my mom going to stores and waiting in line in 30 degree weather. I had so much fun. Not only did I get everything I set out to get but I got to spend hours just hanging out with my mom. Ever since I had the girls I get about a 10 minute conversation with her and every now and then a scrapbook night or movie night. I am so glad we went and I am looking forward to when Lexi and Hailey will be joining us!
