Christmas with Grandma Nancy and Papa Dean

Since papa Dean had to work on Christmas this year we went over to their house to celebrate my birthday and Christmas on the 23rd. We started off eating yummy mexican food and then I opened up my birthday presents. Then we went into the living room by the Christmas tree to start our presents. Before we started handing out gifts papa Dean brought out a few bibles and we took turns reading a passage from the bible about Christmas. He wanted to make sure the girls knew why we celebrate Christmas. At first I was freaked out! All I could think was "oh no, there are so many big words in the bible I'm going to mess it up". It actually turned out really nice and I am glad he had that idea. After that of course the kids dove right into their presents. They got so many nice gifts from papa and grandma. These kids are soooo lucky to have them!!
