Gingerbread Houses

About a week before Christmas we got together with the Williams family for our annual gingerbread house decorating. It always starts off with the kids playing while the daddy's find interesting ways to construct the house. Once it's time for the candy the kids show up and start decorating...or shall I say eating. Lexi did pretty good with putting most of the candy she picked up on the house. I had to remind her a few times the candy is for the decorating. Hailey wanted to be involved this year but didn't quite get it at first. She kept eating the candy over and over. She would act like she was going to put it on the house and then it went straight to her mouth. The houses turned out really cute. We also made our own family pizza for dinner that night. Lexi did most of the work putting the pizza sauce on, cheese, pepperoni, and black olives. The pizza turned out good and we had a great time!
