I can't believe Lexi is 9!! She is growing up way to fast and I told her we aren't celebrating anymore so she can stay 9. Lexi is such a sweet girl and I just love to see her smile. She is almost always smiling! From the moment I wake her up in the morning until I say goodnight to her at night she has that beautiful smile on. Over the summer we had such a good time together. Most nights she wanted to stay up late with me and we would watch shows or she wanted me to help her practice her dance. For her birthday she asked if she was going to wake up with balloons in her room and I was thinning in my head "why did I start this a few years ago, now they expect it". But I got them and I got her a donut and I did it all the night before and in the morning seeing how excited she was made it all worth it. I brought her lunch at school for her birthday and I brought her a surprise...Jen!! Lexi was so excited to see Jen and was so happy she came to surprise her on her birthday. We brought donuts in for her class and they all sang happy birthday to her. For dinner we went to her favorite place Red Robin and she got her free sundae and birthday song. I think she had a wonderful birthday. We are so blessed to have her in our lives.
