WCDE Nationals Las Vegas

In July Lexi's dance studio went to Nationals in Las Vegas. We were there for 5 days and packed in as much as we could. Lexi competed her first night there and the following morning. After that it was free time and convention classes. We spent time at the pool, went to the dolphin exhibit, went to circus circus, and ate at serendipity. The girls decided that they could perform on the Vegas strip for money just like all the other people do. They started doing one of their dance routines and people stopped to watch them but they only made $1. They were so excited about it though, to them it was a million bucks. One night Lexi and I had a date night out together. We went to dinner, the Hershey's store, and went to see the Jabbawoceez. That show was awesome!!! At convention Lexi ended up winning a year round scholarship for WCDE and won an in class award. So proud of her!! I was dreading being there for a week but we had the best time.
