Lexi's birthday party

This year I told Lexi I didn't want to have a big party like we usually do. I told her we could do a sleepover with a couple of girls and go to Sunsplash the next day and she was okay with that. The hardest part for her was picking the couple friends to spend the night. She doesn't like to leave people out so I felt bad about that but we were so busy I didn't have time to throw a big party together. Lexi picked her 2 friends from Club that she won't get to see very much anymore and her good friend Carli that has not missed one of her birthdays since they met. We just finished the dance room so the girls danced for most of the night. It was so cute to listen to them and watch them. They  broke up into groups and choreographed multiple dances. Then the girls went scorpion hunting in the backyard with dad. They found one on the back wall but it crawled into the wall before they could get it. After that they went upstairs and made their beds in the loft for the night and watched teen beach 2. The ate popcorn and had candy and to my surprise were all asleep by midnight.....woo hoo!!!! The girls were up at 7 the next morning...ugh! They did more dancing and then we were off the Sunsplash. It was a fun party but I think it might have been more exhausting then when I have her big pool parties...LOL!!!
